Heldenschwert - Im Schatten Der Zypressen

Here they are again at last! Jens and Martin from Sturmwehr have kept us waiting for four years for their Heldenschwert project. The result is ten new songs, which again take up historical events that we have hardly heard of in musical form. They sing about the "Mission Haudegen", the medics of the Second World War and the Prussian General von Scharnhorst, among others. Jens' voice is once again magnificent in the 45 minutes, sometimes aggressive and rough, then clear and calm, which makes the CD extremely varied. At the end there is the song "Zarte Hände", a rock ballad that gets under your skin and reflects the atrocities that were committed in the last days of the war.
