Sturm und Drang are surprisingly back on the scene "relatively shortly" after their last long player "Ahnenerbe | Totenkvlt" and are opening 2025 with a very, very big exclamation mark! On "Verlies" the South Brandenburg band takes us on a journey that sometimes takes on dystopian proportions. Darkly arranged and characterized by a noticeable expansion of their own musical horizons, they balance themselves much harder, denser and more self-contained over 10 songs in the band's very own crossover style. In parts even spectacularly experimental. In terms of content, the focus is on the existential questions of our people, their fate and the rebellion or the fight to preserve customs, law and art. Screamer Harbard presents himself in his uniqueness fresher and more rousing than ever. In short: with "Verlies" there is already a first highlight in the hopefully qualitatively good RAC vintage of 2025!!!
