Uwocaust and the Angry Bois - Das alte Feuer
Just imagine the following situation: a handful of classic short-haired musicians, some of whom have been active in non-political areas and who have known each other forever, meet again in a rehearsal room after a long time. They review stories and anecdotes from days gone by and at some point just start playing... and what a coincidence, their old buddy UWE IS ALSO THERE. What would the result be?NO Metal, NO Hardcore... just handmade melodic/fast "oldschool" street R.A.C.! saxophone can really rip. The warm but jagged sound is reminiscent of the good old days and gives their own as well as the newly interpreted songs a very special touch. But not only musically, the gentlemen set a small "monument" with this mini album, their youth, their self-image and their way of life. The lyrics are also in this vein and those who know Uwe know that this also goes hand in hand with the appropriate sharpness. So some excesses of "modernity" and their protagonists are properly targeted. In terms of packaging, you could use an artist who, for his part, created a surprising but more than appropriate frame for everything. 12 page booklet, with all lyrics, in a jewel case. It doesn't matter whether you're a little older or young at heart, whether you're a skinhead or not, every man and woman who moves outside the mainstream will certainly be able to make friends with this entertaining piece of music. In this sense, "The old fire is still blazing"!
