Skinfront - Auge um auge

It took a long time, yes, a really long time, for the skinheads from Weißenfels and the surrounding area to finally release their full album with 11 songs after their 2015 demo. The demo was already more than decent, but their sound on the debut album is now even fuller and more mature after a line-up change and various forced breaks. Fortunately, nothing has changed in terms of their raw playing style. Robust, yet more sophisticated, but definitely from the streets and straight in the face. The dialect gives the whole thing a down-to-earth charm that is often lacking in the overly polished skinhead rock of today.   Thematically, they deal with social injustices, subculture, history and loyalty without going off on a tangent. A very solid, good and above all surprising album.
