Hostile Youth - Rarities and more LP

Hostile Youth were formed in late 1978 from the ashes of the band "Decayed". Most of the lyrics are a reaction to the politics of Maggie Thatcher's time in Great Britain: high unemployment, race riots, being teased by soul boys and greasers and learning to fight back against everything and everyone! They sent a demo tape to "No Future" Records (Attack, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Blitz, Red Alert and others were released here). In 1982 they released the sampler "A land fit for heroes" which included the song "Fight Back" from the demo tape. They played live in youth clubs, garages, pubs and clubs and built up a following of skins and punks in Northamptonshire. Most of the gigs ended in chaos and violence. This LP contains their two demo tapes from 1981 and 1982. Limited to 250 hand-numbered copies, with the band's history as a supplement.
