Volkstroi - Heim ins Reich

In the early 1990s, the right-wing music scene reached one of its peaks – both in terms of bands and concerts, as well as its following. Groups also formed in the Oder region at that time, attempting to make their mark musically. The group Volkstroi eventually emerged from the remnants of the Fürstenwalde band Querschläger and an unnamed group.

With their release later known as the "Black CD," the band made a significant impact on the scene in 1998. But was this truly their debut? In retrospect: no. Years earlier, the band had already established contact with the scene label Rock-o-Rama, at the time one of the central hubs for scene music. To this day, the details of this exchange remain unclear. However, it is certain that shortly after the success of the "Black CD," another release appeared on Rock-o-Rama – without the band's knowledge or consent.

The CD in question was titled "Hated and Damned" and was largely boycotted by many fans. This was because neither the artwork nor the choice of tracks met the musicians' expectations. Now, for the first time, it is possible to acquire this recording in an officially authorized version. The original master has been carefully remastered, and both graphically and sonically, the CD presents itself as the band envisioned it in the mid-1990s. It includes an intro and eight tracks in the typical Volkstroi style. Two tracks had to be slightly censored – in accordance with current legal regulations. The reissue comes in a digipak and also includes a booklet filled with memories of the turbulent 1990s!
